Two (conflicting?) ideas

@Wutkh: โปรดตรวจสอบชื่อวิกินี้ว่าเป็น Thai Wikimedians User Group หรือ Wikimedia Thailand จากหน้า notification เหมือนจะยังเป็น User Group อยู่เลย

Idea #1

Promotion of this WMTH wiki

If possible, promote this wiki to (Thai) volunteers so that they can use it as

1. the home wiki (first account created)
2. the home page for their volunteer user accounts.

Additional possibilities

1. Tools such as the Wikipedia Adventure can also be relocated here and fine-tuned the content to cover sister projects if needed.
2. Central notice such as w:th:มีเดียวิกิ:Sitenotice from w:th:แม่แบบ:ประกาศ/หัวข้ออภิปราย may be centrally hosted here and propagate to Wikipedia and sister projects via semi-automatic mechanism.

Idea #2

Separation of discussion for WMTH organizational/operational matters and cross-wiki Thailand/Thai-language/Thai-people–related community/project/movement matters

Discussion on Meta (or, where appropriate, on this WMTH wiki) would be legitimate and valid when participants and outsiders clearly understand that the discussion and its pages are open to the public (community-wide) and are not under any influence, sponsorship, encouragement, or intervention by WMTH as an organisation (which has yet to come into existence).

1. ผู้ใช้เจตนาดี ล็อกอินแล้วหลุดบ่อยมาก (กรณีทำงานสลับไปมาหลายวิกิ)
2. ผู้ใช้ไม่ทราบเจตนา เริ่มทำการก่อกวนหรือการแก้ไขที่ไม่สร้างสรรค์

@Wutkh และ Manop: ขออภัยเมื่อวานมองไม่เห็น thank วันนี้เห็นแล้วครับ ผมเข้าใจว่ามีระบบดูจำนวนสมาชิก (และหมายเลขสมาชิก) ได้เป็นปกติอยู่แล้ว แค่ไปค้นดูในระบบก็จะทราบได้ แต่ไม่แน่ใจว่ามีระบบนับจำนวนดูได้ไหมว่าใช้ wmth เป็น home wiki เท่าไหร่ ซึ่งอาจจะตอบโจทย์ของการนับผู้ใช้ใหม่ที่เข้าร่วมโครงการผ่านการแนะนำและดูแลของ WMTH --Taweethaも (คุย) 07:13, 2 พฤษภาคม 2569 (+07)

In the Wikimedia ecosystem, a "home-wiki" refers to the primary project associated with a user's global account (SUL - Single User Login). This is typically the wiki where the account was first created or where the user has the most activity.

There is no single "live" button to see these counts for every wiki on a public dashboard, but you can find this information using Quarry (the public interface for Wikimedia database replicas) or by checking individual accounts.

If you want to see the home-wiki of a specific person:

• Go to any Wikimedia project (like English Wikipedia).
• Search for Special:CentralAuth/Username (replace "Username" with the actual name).
• The "Home wiki" will be explicitly listed in the account information box.

• Reliability: The gu_home_db field is generally accurate for accounts created after 2015. For very old accounts merged during the transition to the Single User Login system, the "home" was determined by whichever account had the most edits at the time of merging.
• Missing Data: Some accounts may have a NULL or empty home-wiki field if they haven't logged in for many years or if there was a glitch during the migration.
• Active vs. Total: This count includes all registered accounts, including those that are inactive. If you only want "active" home-wiki users, the query would need to join with local user tables, which is much more complex as it requires cross-database joins (which are limited on Quarry).

For general statistics on active users (rather than technical "home" assignments), you can use Wikistats. While it doesn't use the "home-wiki" technical definition, it tracks "Editors"—the number of people actually contributing to a specific project—which is often the metric people are actually looking for when they ask about "users" of a wiki.
